Acutherapy
Acutherapy is a light, gentle touch massage technique that focuses on relaxing the nervous system in a non-invasive way, helping to reduce stress, calm the mind, and aid in injury rehabilitation. Acutherapy can be used in circumstances where many other techniques may not work, as in an acute/sensitive injury and with neuro-diverse clients.
Myofascial
Fascia is the largest network connection in the body, encasing organs, muscles and bones to provide structure and nerve support. This technique utilizes the release of fascia to promote greater health, range of motion, and functionality in the body. Involving the newest research in the area and how fascia is moved, techniques are used to treat headaches, TMJ dysfunction, joint problems, and more.
Swedish
The technique most people are familiar with, the Swedish massage is designed to relax the entire body with long gliding strokes towards the heart - increasing fluid exchange, greater oxygen levels, and improved circulation. This massage promotes overall relaxation and stress relief.
Thai
Thai massage blends styles from Asian culture passed down through the generations. This massage technique doesn’t use oils or lotions but is applied by the practitioner with a method using point pressure, stretching, compressions and gentle rocking with the hands, forearms, feet, and knees to free tension from the receivers body. It is applied on a mat on the floor, while fully clothed.
